Failing Forward
I finally picked a good theme and started to work on my plugins as well as my list. Then yesterday I went into Google and noticed my tracking was not working. I checked the footer and the code was their but I also noticed there was a lot of junk after it. Man I just cannot believe this. Back to looking for another theme. I noticed the only ones that work right is the real wordpress themes. I picked a new one because I like how it has my picture.
Well for the life of me I cannot figure how to add my avitar. Is this a plug-in. I said enough and went to work on something else. I went into Aweber and add a nice RSS report that shows how to position yourself. So I sent it to my list as a PDF and I had a lot of bounce backs.
What was I doing wrong- then I saw that I sent the email html format - man that was stupid . I should have just quit right their and called it a day - but I didn’t - so I sent another email (text) so it would get though. All was well till I noticed I forgot to send the attachment. 
My subscribers I’m sure are saying, Vince what are you doing -

How refreshing to find someone else doing silly things. It can get frustrating though can’t it?
It’s nice you explain what went wrong and how you put it right though. Helps us all and gives me hope!

Hi Vince,
The videos were great, they were definitely worth what I paid for them. I heard you say on the last call that you finally convinced Shawn to let you give them away and that’s great for our fellow students. I’ve been through all of them and they helped me a lot.
However, I’m still having lots of problems with my formatting and have tried about 15 different themes trying to find one that will work okay but still working on it. There is an avatar plug-in you might want to search for, in answer to your question about getting your picture to work.
I also noticed that your post before this one was about Ewin Chua, but you spelled his last name like the well-known internet marketer, Ewen Chia, so you might want to edit that last name and I’m sure Ewin will be thankful, lol.
I hope you get your gremlins worked out, I’m battling mine too!

Hello Jean, Can you help me, I worked all day trying to get my side bar to look right.
I downloaded many Plugins but some hurt others , but I have a problem. If you go to my blog you will see I have a place for my picture. For the life of me I cannot find the right plugin so I can up load my profile. I need to upload my picture to the author section on my site.
As you can see I have a plugin, that show your your profile..

Stumbling is what it’s all about.
how else do we learn what not to do.
There is a lot of info out there explaining what TO do, but there are always those little in between things that are not mentioned that we seem to need to find our way through.
I have spend many an hour getting one simple thing figured out and done - with out mistakes.
We all make these mistakes, the real key is how fast you make them, and how much you learn from them.
Those who fail fastest win.
Just don’t let them stop you.
And about your picture, try going to the Gravitar site and setting up your picture with them. I see on your page HTML that they are listed. I f you look at the HTML of this page where the comments are you will see the following url with more behind it, that is the code for the pictures and yours is right now just a place holder.

If you set this up, I think it just follows you around. That’s how they show up in comments on other blogs.
Hope this does it, so you can stop trying out every plugin made!! lol

Hello John, I signed up for Gravitar, put my Picture in the platform, still does not show up on my blog. I went in to the different pages in theme edit (witch are all PHP code) to see if I could find this holder to insert the code. I put each page in notebook and looked for the word Gravitar- nothing.
John, what am I missing, you said HTML on this page. Please put in the page URL in you comments so I know where to begin. Can you walk me though this. I need to get this done then I have a very special gift for everyone.
